Front Desk Updates & Building Reminders

Governor Inslee has extended the Stay Home, Stay Healthy order through May 31, 2020.  The personnel and front desk changes that were instituted at the beginning of the order will remain in effect until the order is lifted.  Once it is safe to reopen, we will send a notice to all residents informing you of such.

  1. The Front Desk will remain CLOSED on Saturdays.
  1. The Onsite Manager’s office hours will still be Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm, however, Kassi will be working remotely.  If you have any questions, concerns, requests, etc., please contact her via email, phone, or text.
Kassi’s email is and her cell phone is 206-743-5695.
  1. All common areas (Rec Room, Guest Suite, and Roof Top Decks) will remain closed until the Stay Home, Stay Healthy order is lifted.
  1. Parcels will be sorted and delivered to residents’ doors between 2pm-3pm Monday-Friday only.  We are asking all residents to not come down to the Front Desk to retrieve their parcels.
  • Any parcel deliveries on Saturday will not be delivered until the following Monday.  If it is an emergency, and the resident must have it on Saturday, please contact Kassi to schedule a drop off.
  • Residents who are out of town or going out of town, please let Kassi know if you do not want parcels left at your door.  These will be held for you until your return.
  • For owners who live offsite and receive parcels, you will need to contact Kassi directly to schedule a drop off.  They will not be left at your door.
  1. Sanitizing and disinfecting of the common areas and heavily touched apparatuses will still continue throughout the day.
  • We are using EPA approved disinfectant wipes and bleach-based cleaners which will cause some streaking in the elevators and around the elevator buttons after it dries.  These products will also give these areas a dull appearance rather than the polished look they usually are with our normal cleaning products.
  • Owners are encouraged to clean any areas they may come in contact with as well.
  1. General maintenance and cleaning will also continue but with limited hours.  It is asked that all residents please exercise social distancing when dealing with any of the onsite staff (6 feet between people).
  1. Bob McCue, our maintenance manager, will still be available for maintenance requests and repairs.  If you are ill and need him to access your unit for a repair, he is requesting that it be completed when you are feeling better.  Emergency situations do not apply.

The staff is doing their best to protect all residents with the extra cleaning and disinfecting throughout the day, but we want to remind all owners and residents that we are all responsible for our own personal safety and health.  Every one of us puts ourselves at risk whenever we leave our homes.

Here are some CDC recommended tips and building recommendations to help protect yourself, your families and your neighbors:

  • Wash hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.  If soap and water are not available, use an at least 60% alcohol hand sanitizer.
  • Wash hands prior to departing and immediately upon entering your unit.
  • Avoid touching common surfaces (elevator buttons and door handles) directly whenever possible.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Practice social distancing with other residents and remain at least 6 feet apart.  Keep the number of people on an elevator to 1-2 people at a time.  Limit time in any common area (hallways, mailroom, lobby, etc.).
  • Remember to wear a mask or cloth covering when leaving the home or interacting with other residents.  Please see attachment for how to safely wear a mask.
  • Cover your nose and mouth when sneezing or coughing with a tissue or into your elbow if tissues are unavailable.
  • Dispose of all tissues, masks, gloves, etc. in an appropriate manner.
  • Stay Home as much as you are able, especially if you are sick.
  • If you are sick and do leave your unit, please take extra precautions to protect others as well as yourself, e.g., by wearing a mask and gloves, limiting time in common spaces and social distancing from others.
  • Try to limit any non-essential visitors and guests into the building.
  • Do not leave garbage of any kind in the hallways or common areas.  Dispose of all garbage in the proper receptacles outside in the garbage area.
  • If you or your pet creates a mess of any kind in the hallways or common areas, please be responsible and clean up after yourself.
  • Do not flush anything other than toilet paper in the toilets.  Flushing anything else could cause major back-ups in our plumbing lines.

We know the current situation can be very stressful and trying for everyone, but we appreciate everyone’s cooperation and understanding during this difficult time.  By working together, we can help protect all of us.  Any owner who has guests in the building, please pass this email along to them.
Thank you for your cooperation.
