Seattle City Light is working to upgrade all current meters to new advanced wireless meters. They are working with Aclara who are hired specialists to install these meters. All residents should have received prior notification from Seattle City Light in the mail about the changeover.
Aclara employees are scheduled to replace all meters on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 between 10:00am-2:00pm. They will not need access to any units since all meters are located in the hallways.
We would like all residents to be aware that there will be a short power outage while the old meter is being replaced with the new one. This outage will last anywhere from 1-5 minutes. Seattle City Light and Aclara have also informed us that if the power does not return to your unit after the installation you will need to check the breaker box because some of them might have gotten flipped.
